This article is detailing the flow of data in the Instagram Channel authentication flow and the request and response process. It also details what data we save and where in the data flow we do so.
In general we only save data that are already publicly available and only in order to prevent duplicate post/ticket creation.
While the Instagram channel app data is stored on an EU located datacenter, the channel data stored on your Zendesk instance, like the instagram authorization token, might not be - this depends on your Zendesk setup.
